Regional Head of Risk
LOCATION : SINGAPORE
My client is looking to take on an individual to play a pivotal role in the facilitation of the fund’s expansion into Singapore. The role will require the individual to work alongside the Chief Risk Officer to help develop and enhance the fund’s risk governance framework and strategy and embed the risk management principles, policies and strategies throughout the new business.
The candidate will be expected to eventually lead a team to oversee the whole of the fund’s Asian business. It is expected the candidate coming on board will have 10+ years of senior risk management experience. A strong technical knowledge of risk assessment, control and monitoring methodologies will be assumed. Experience at managing relationships with regulatory authorities will be expected as well as a thorough understanding of SFA and FAA laws.
Initially there will be some travel required, as the individual coming on board will be working closely with the Board members who reside in New York. Strong communication skills will be highly important.
